The site is located in Aarapalayam, Madurai.
The design borrows traditional elements and converts them into more modernistic design.
As seen in the elevation, clean lines form the geometry, while avoiding excessive
accessories and decorations.
The other sense of play is through textures of materials like wood, stone, concrete and
glass.
The interiors are more extroverted in nature offering a space for social
interaction.
The theme follows the ‘basic and bare’ motto edging on bold with a pop of bright color
which adds
visual weightage , balancing the unadorned walls.
The furnishings and decor focus on the use of neutral
materials and earthy colors while eliminating unnecessary detailing.the focus is placed
on the use of monochromatic colors, and patternless fabrications set.
Colour palettes are neutral and airy, furnishings are simple and streamlined, and
nothing is excessive or flamboyant in accessories or decor.
Minimalism is ultimately defined by a sense of functionality and ultra-clean lines.
